Combine Aspiration Rewards
Combine aspiration rewards for even bigger boosts. For example, if your Sim is wearing a Thinking Cap and feeds Smart Milk to their Toddler, the Toddler builds skill four times as fast!
50,000 Cash
To get 50,000 Sim bucks press CTL + Shift + C and type in Motherlode.
Buying expensive houses
Use the following trick if you want your average Sim to buy a house that is above his or her means. First start a family or load one, and find an empty lot. Move the Sim on that lot. Enable the motherlode code a few times, just to the point where you can buy the expensive house. Exit the lot, but save the game. Then, evict (move out) the family. Notice that your family is displayed at the "Choose Family" window. You can now buy any house desired.
Custom Painting
To decorate your house with custom artwork, first your sim must have a creativity level of 5 and be able to paint a still life.
Have your sim paint and a frame will appear that you can center on whatever you want to paint. If you want to paint a picture of something outside the Sims 2 game, just press C anywhere at this time. This will pause the game.
Use Alt + Tab to exit the game, then open a picture program such as Paint and open the snapshot you just took, it will usually be in the folder: C:My DocumentsEASims2StorytellingSnapshot.bmp
Then, you also have to open the picture you want to have in your game. If your picture is too large resize it so it will fit in the original snapshot from the game.
Copy your custom picture on to your snapshot from the game, then save the picture. Use Alt + Tab to get back to your game and your sim will start painting your own custom picture.
Using this trick you can put pictures of your friends or family, web pictures, or anything else in your Sims 2 game.
Listen To Mp3's On Sim Radio
First get whatever Mp3's you want to put on the game, then open up MyDocuments/EAGames/TheSims2/Music/(whatever RadioStation you want your song on). Then, Drag your MP3 into the folder. Now, start Sims 2 then go to options menu, then music settings, then the Radio Station, then pick witch songs you want the radio to play. You can now listen to your favorite songs in your Sims game.
Use your own videos for the TV
It's possible to watch your own videos on the Sim-TV. You must put the video you want into MyDocuments/EaGames/TheSims2/Music/ (the TV sender you want). If you then turn on the TV in the game you can watch it! The video must be .avi-clips and the clips shouldn't be larger then 128x128 pixel also it shouldn't have more then 15 frames per second.
Disgusting Faces
There is a glitch in character creation mode where you can make absolutely disgusting faces. The trick is that if you go to the face designing area and you select a face part such as the eyes and max out all the sliders one way or the other, then go to a different face part and select one of the PREDESIGNED parts, and then come back to the eyes, the sliders will have reset in the middle, but the eyes will still look the same. This works for all of the face adjusting tabs. Exploiting this, you can make eyes the size of dinner plates, cheekbones 4 feet long, and a HUMUNGOUS nose, to name a few.
Solar Empire Cheats
Cheat: Stealing Resources
If you're interested (in single-player mode) in stealing resources from other empires, try the following method (Solar Empire Cheats):
- Start a new game and play as usual, giving the other empires time to build up their resources (Solar Empire Cheats).
- When you're ready to steal resources (as you're running low on resources yourself), save your game, quit, and then reload another empire to play as (Solar Empire Cheats).
- Once you have loaded your alternate empire, go to the Diplomacy menu. Send the resources from this empire to your "normal", default empire (Solar Empire Cheats).
- Save the game, quit, and reload your original empire. The resources sent from the alternate empire should now be there -- you can repeat this as much as you want.
Cheat: Various File Hacks
Head to your game's installation file (which will be something like "Stardock Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/"). In this folder, you'll find another folder called galaxy which you should click. Now, please keep in mind, the following is both unverified and could potentially corrupt your game installation or cause other computer problems, so try this at your own risk
.
Within the "Galaxy" folder, you'll see all sorts of system from the game, tutorials, and more. Right-click on any file in the "Galaxy" folder and open it with Notepad. You should see the following string at the top of the text file:

These strings mean different things, and represent upgrade choices that can increase tactical capacity, population, and more. Here's what they mean specifically:
civilian modules = logistics capacity
tactical modules = tactical capacity (Solar Empire Cheats)
home = capital planet (default when you start a game, cannot change)
artifact level = exploration (already at max when you start a game)
infrastructure = emergency facilities
I personally used the following settings in the above order: 4,2,2,1,2,3.
I'm almost positive that these values are the same for each faction, but I haven't yet tried these numbers for each scenario size or each map. Therefore, you may be limited to the actual max value depending on which galaxy map you choose.
If you head back to the same text file and scroll to the very bottom, you'll find a section that starts with "playercount [#]". You should find it right after the section describing the phase line connections. The section starting with "player 0" represents you. The three strings "startingcredits", "startingmetal", and "startingcrystal" are values of your starting material that can each be changed to a maximum of 9999. Change those values at your leisure.

Hidden Scrolls (Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes)
The Ramen Ichiraku Stage:
Strike all the lanterns on the lowest level of this stage untill they glow red and are about to break. Do not break them. If done correctly, you will get the hidden Scroll.
Hokage's Mountainside Images Stage:
Jump up and down on the treetop to the left of the center ring. After about ten jumps you will receive the hidden Scroll.(Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes).
Hero's Memorial Stone Stage:
Strike your enemy's support character five times to receive the hidden Scroll.
Survival Exercise Ground Stage:
Destroy ten of the practice dummies appearing on the back plane to obtain the hidden Scroll.
Look Out Tower Stage:
To get the Scroll, shatter the purple barrier that stops you from plane shifting. Then, go to the giant frog's head. You must jump from the frog's head to the snake's head without falling or touching the ground. The easiest way to do this is to jump forward then double jump at the last moment. Then, perform an air dash toward the snake's head. Then, return to the frog's head using the same move. All this must be done before the snake starts breathing fire. The moment you get back to the frog's head, you will receive the Hidden Scroll.
Chunin Exam Stadium Stage (Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes):
Run to the hole in the ground five times to obtain the hidden Scroll. Make sure you wall-run out of the tunnel each time.
Kikyo Castle Stage:
Stand on the top tail tip of the fish statue in the upper-right hand corner of the back plane while the timer gauge ticks down for ten seconds.
Exercise Ground Forest Of Death Stage (Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes):
Attack the fish swimming in the stream three times to get the Scroll.
Zabuza's Hideout Stage (Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes):
Stand on the building's upper most level and wait for three counts of the time gauge to receive the Scroll.
Great Naruto Bridge Stage (Cheats Naruto Ninja Heroes):
Stand still on the boat for three counts of the timer gauge to obtain a hidden Scroll.
Kazekage's Mansion Stage:
Attack the vending machine between fifteen and thirty times to get the hidden Scroll.
Sunagimo Estate and Buddha Statue Stage:
Plane shift up to the top of the level and destroy the object flying in the tornado. It will take more than one tornado to complete this.
